Homecare Assistants/Domicilliary Care Worker

Due to new contracts Homecare Support a UK leading Domiciliary Care agency are looking to recruit Care Workers to provide care and support to older people within their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and forward thinking organisation that puts care at the for front of everything we do.
The Role;
To provide care and support to vulnerable people in their own homes within all areas of Leeds.You will join a caring and professional team dedicated to deliver the highest of standards to our service users and to ensure dignity, respect, and choice. Successful applicants will deliver;
Personal Care such as;
Washing
Bathing
Dressing
Assistance with toileting
Catheter support
Prompting medication
Basic domestic and laundry duties along with the collection of shopping.
Main responsibilities and Duties;
To work at all times in ways which demonstrate an active understanding of the principles of the job as outlined above.
To actively encourage Independence
To offer choice in relation to the service users care plan
To monitor professional standards in accordance with the Care Quality Commission and at all times promote good, safe working practices
To ensure effective communication
To participate in training and develop skills within the care industry
To assist with all aspects of daily living activities
To observe health and safety and to work in a manner that protects the service user, yourself and the business
To adhere to business policies and procedures
To carry out administration duties when required
To work alongside multi agency partners.

Is is desirable that applicants have previous care experience, however this is not essential. MUST BE A DRIVER with OWN TRANSPORT. You must have a flexible working approach and be willing to work anti social hours, such as evenings and weekends.
Induction training and uniform provided.
On successful completion of the induction training, suitable references and CRB clearance working hours will be discussed and a start date offered.
Full Time and Part Time hours available.
