We have an exciting opportunity to work within the central Employee Benefits team of this impressive and well regarded national IFA organisation.

With RDR approaching there is a new and significant demand for high quality documentation, template reports and client facing material as well as general technical support.

My client is therefore creating another role for a Corporate Technical Support / Corporate Paraplanner to work in a small team focused on supporting their Consultants and Client Support staff in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating client facing documentation to support the RDR client service proposition, this includes discussion documents, suitability reports, governance reports, ‘speed briefs’, technical bulletins, client presentations and much more

• Creating and maintaining existing template documents

• Providing technical support to staff working in employee benefits

• Maintaining the Employee Benefits document library

• Corporate Para planning – writing specific client reports for Consultants

• Liaising with insurers to stay abreast of corporate products, terms and general market issues

Essential Skills and Experience Required

• A sound knowledge of the main areas of advice within employee benefits - group personal pension, occupational money purchase, group risk and employee benefit consulting

• QCF4 attained or working towards should have G60, R04 or J04 as a minimum as a significant amount of work is group pension based

• Must be able to work in an organised and deadline focused manner as much of the output is client facing and required within specific time periods

• Should have a clear understanding of the implications of RDR on an IFA as much of the output will be focused on fee based work

• Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel and prior experience of 1st/Advisor Office desirable but not essential
