Senior Business Development Manager - East Anglia

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + excellent package

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced insurance professional to join an industry leading insurer in a Senior Business Development role. Our client offers a generous benefits package which includes a car allowance, pension and an annual performance related bonus.

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a panel of brokers within the commercial SME marketplace. Will cover a broad geographical patch across East Anglia, incorporating Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex. The successful candidate will work alongside the Underwriting, Claims and Sales teams to ensure growth and retention targets are achieved and will have involvement in P&L management in addition to business planning.

Candidates wishing to be considered for this role must combine proactive sales with a good network of broker contacts across the region. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and have good commercial knowledge, however applicants will also be considered from a personal lines or broker background.
