Marketing Assistant
Our client is a retail financial services/ trading Company with very ambitious plans for growth and transforming the entire Spread Betting/ CFD space by becoming the most innovative provider of financial products. The company requires an experienced Junior Marketer/Marketing Assistant/Online Content Manager for immediate employment.
Working in their distribution team (Sales, Marketing and PR), the successful candidate will provide marketing support to the business, including aspects of online content management, social media/community management and liaise with marketing/B2B partners. You will work closely with and receive input from leading experts in marketing but will be expected to completely self driven and take initiative to ensure that key marketing activities are on track.
Key Accountabilities & Duties
Responsibility for General Marketing activities, including:
Creation, set-up and management of blogs, twitter, facebook campaigns etc.
Compilation and reporting of management stats (acquisition, CPA etc.)
Monitoring and tailoring of marketing streams (encompassing TV, online, print media etc.)
Liaison with media partners/agencies
Marketing Idea/concept generation
Management and coordination of marketing projects
Responsibility for all online/electronic content as follows:
Generation of fresh content/content revitalisation
Compliance of all marketing materials with FSA guidelines
Creation of regular marketing emails/client communication
Responsibility for marketing/B2B partner administration, including:
Management and coordination of 'white-labelling' process from start to finish
Administration associated with B2B partners
Relevant experience within the spread betting/CFD or retail finance industry is preferred however is not a constraint for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a strong degree, be intelligent, technology literate, highly self driven, have thirst for learning and will possess a very strong work ethic. Excellent knowledge of social media/onlinemarketing and next generation marketing streams is important. The candidate should possess the natural ability to work under pressure and be capable of taking the initiative to bring diverse threads together and deliver against deadlines.
