Product Development Manager – Cheltenham
Salary: £26,000 - £40,000 plus excellent benefits package

Expert insurance intermediary working with a wide range of insurers to create and deliver competitive products and services to their customers. In order to deliver their desired growth, the organisation continually reviews its insurance schemes to ensure they have the right offering within each of our market areas.

The Role
Working within the Specialist Market Facing Unit (MFU), the Product Development Manager is responsible for providing specialist product, pricing and insurer relationship support to the Team in order to achieve plans in this market. You will develop both current and new schemes ensuring sustainable profit for the company and its insurer partners.

Essential to this role is the ability to support market teams with your specialist product and pricing expertise and an ability to leverage your insurer relationships. In order to do this you will need to build relationships internally and with insurer partners ensuring you gain support and commitment to achieve our shared business objectives.

The Person
This role requires an individual who is analytical and can think differently about challenges and how they can be overcome. You will have the confidence to take key decisions and communicate with stakeholders across the business.

You will ideally have knowledge of the UK insurance market as well as experience of developing and growing accounts. You will be comfortable analysing data and risk management information and using this, along your understanding of industry pricing methodologies, to assist in driving change and real improvement of the accounts.
