Finance Assistant

A superb opportunity has arisen for an AAT part qualified individual, or a graduate with some accounting experience to join a leading employer for a 6 month contract.

Providing support to a strategic planning finance team, the role will predominantly involve processing data, typical duties will include updating existing analysis, preparing cost estimates, helping with data collection and assisting with some basic analysis for ad-hoc projects.

We are looking for an individual with strong MS Excel skills, the ability to learn new software quickly (such as COGNOS) and a logical approach to problem solving. Applicants who are either degree educated, or part AAT qualified would be particularly welcome to apply.

Typical responsibilities:

- preparing monthly management accounts pack
- producing profitability graphs for monthly management accounts
- assisting with setting up models for annual budgets quarterly forecasts and business plans
- preparing new costings
- producing daily sales reports
- preparing ad-hoc data requests
