Job Title:: Tax Assistant

As Tax Assistant, you will support both the Head of Finance on partner matters and the Partnership Tax Accountant on LLP tax compliance and related matters.
Main responsibilities will include:
Coordinate the provision of taxable profit details and to other 3rd party advisers
Assist with tax provisions;
Maintain and update letters and glossaries;
Respond efficiently to Partner queries;
Conduct Partner expense checks;
Coordinate financial references;
Update Partner services brochure;
Liaise with HMRC
Short Term Business Visitors (STBV) agreements;
Withholding Tax (WHT) and related forms;
Responding to employee related tax queries from the HR team;
Completing E101 (now A1) applications & renewals;
Assist in preparation of the annual LLP tax computation;
Assist in preparation of annual Corporate tax computations;
Coordinate month end work;
64-8 & NI forms;
Action gift aid claims & R185's for annuitants;
Coordinate tax payments & review PYAs;
Oversee personal tax recoveries;
Assist with secondments;
Assist with Partner capital.
Skills and experience::
You will have mixed tax experience and some broad accounting knowledge. Exposure to liaising with external providers and internal stakeholders will also be important.
You will have excellent IT skills and attention to detail;
Ability to work independently prioritising workload accordingly to meet deadlines.
Confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Team player with a high level of self motivation and integrity
