Requirements Engineer

My client, at the forefront of the aerospace industry, are consistently developing and surpassing current industry standards. Due to continued commercial growth and success they are currently recruiting for an Requirements Engineer, based in Wolverhampton, on a contract basis.

With previous experience in the field your main duties will be assisting in the Capture and Identification of requirements, managing requirement review process (validation) to ensure all requirements are correct and complete, managing the flow down of requirements through the decomposition and allocation process and managing traceability of requirements from child to parent.

To complement the above you will be managing the verification process to track the planning and implementation of verification activities, managing requirement change and its impact, producing and managing requirements metrics and you will be involved in requirement configuration management

To complete this contract it is likely that you will have experience of requirements management using DOORS or an equivalent requirements management software tool or database, a good understanding of the principles related to Requirements Management throughout the product lifecycle and an understanding of the product development lifecycle.

This contract will run for a minimum of six months initially and for your efforts and services you will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay and a stable workload in the current economic climate.
