Buyer

My client, at the forefront of the Aerospace market worldwide, are consistently developing and surpassing current industry standards. Due to continued commercial growth and success they are currently recruiting for a Buyer, based in Wolverhampton, on a contract basis for a period of up to 12 months.

With previous experience in the role a Buyer is required to assist in implementing sourcing strategies at directed by the SCM.

On a more finite level, you will be challenged with the tasks of working with NPI teams and engineering to ensure new requirements are met in line with project timescales, compiling and issuing requests for quotation (RFQ) utilising the supplier selection process

Due to the specific nature of the role, you will require experience of new product introduction and KPI improvement in an aerospace market.

In order to fulfil this challenging position it is likely that you will have completed a recognised degree or relevant work experience and be a member of a recognised body such as CIP's.

Demonstrable experience showing your abilities within the supply chain in multi national companies, preferably aerospace, and your experience of new product introduction is a must for any applicant

This contract will run for up to12 months initially and for your efforts and services you will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay and a stable workload in the current economic climate.
