CNC Programmer

We urgently require CNC Programmers with experience of operating/programming Lathe machines with HAAS controls for engineering company based in the heart of Birmingham. An immediate start is available for the successful candidate. Benefits include hourly pay between £9.00-£11.00 per hour, ample overtime paid at premium and an opportunity for permanent employment and progression with a leading precision engineer. Hours of work 7.30am - 4.30pm

Primary duties include -

- Program, set and operate programming Lathe machine with HAAS controls
- loading fixtures, programs and tooling according to setup sheets
- Working to tight tolerances
- Checking that work meets quality and technical guidelines

Our ideal candidate: -

- Available immediately and able to work on a temp-perm contract
- Experienced CNC Programmer on HAAS Lathe machine (different type of machine will be considered)
- Knowledge and / or experience of precision engineering for the automotive, aerospace or defence sectors
- Prepared to contribute with overtime needs as the business dictates
