Process Engineer

You will be responsible for the development, implementation, support and continual improvement of leading edge manufacturing processes to support the business in achieving and maintaining a World leading position in production of composite components. Working as part of a small team you will act as the prime engineering interface for identified products/customers, interfacing between Design, Operations and customers to ensure all manufacturing processes are effective, robust and compliant. It is the perfect opportunity for an experienced process engineer to work for a leading-edge composite manufacturing company.

Skills and qualifications
• Proven experience of developing best practice manufacturing processes and supporting work instructions for composite components
• Experience of working directly with Aerospace customers is desirable but not essential
Responsibilities
• Development and implementation of efficient manufacturing processes and best practice work instructions for new and existing components, both for build-to-print and in-house designs
• Interfacing with customers’ technical teams to understand and develop manufacturing approaches and material selection for new and existing products
• Preparation, issuing and configuration control of manufacturing documentation
• Providing engineering support to the Quality Team during non conformance investigations and provision of re-work schemes
• Working closely with Operations, Business Development, Project Management, Quality and Customers to facilitate continual improvement of manufacturing processes
• Representing the Engineering function in Operations, Quality and Customer reviews
