Job Position: Electrical Systems Engineer

Division/Dept: Electrical Engineering

Job Status: Contract duration: 12 Months

Description:

Responsible for ensuring the robust delivery of the Climate Electrical System (including HVAC ECU and associated transducers, Auxiliary Heater Control Module, Heated Seat ECUs and Climate Seat ECUs to programme timing.

Qualifications: Educated to a minimum of Degree level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.

Preferred: Qualification in an Electrical/Electronic or Software Engineering discipline.

Experience:

Previous experience of delivering complex Engineering systems to a fixed timeframe and budget.

Preferred:

Knowledge of automotive HVAC systems.

Experience of specifying/verifying automotive electrical commodities.

Knowledge of toolsets and processes - GPDS, eFDVS, AIMS, WERS Knowledge of Vehicle Multiplex systems - CAN, LIN and associated analysis tools

Knowledge of ECU Diagnostics - Diagnostic protocols and DTCs

Skills Required:

Ability to deliver a complex Engineering System/commodity to a set timeframe. Good communication skills.

Ability to generate and understand Engineering Specifications.

Skills Preferred: Understanding of engineering design quality toolsets/processes - FMEA, Interface Analysis, 6-Sigma.

Understanding of software development processes and verification/validation methods.

Additional Info: Must be willing to travel between Client sites

Basic Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Rate up to: £30.20 (Limited Company Basis)
