We are looking for a Regional Fundraising Manager for an exciting and unique opportunity working for one of the UKs most foremost Cancer Charities based in Cardiff.
The organisation are a leader in their field, recently celebrating their 50th anniversary of raising awareness and generating vital funds to aid in the research into cancer and to help provide support to patients and their families.
The role is to work alongside the head of regional fundraising and fundraising teams to develop and implement a strategy for South Wales that will contribute to the goal of achieving a quantifiable increase in benefit to patients.
You will be responsible for maximising all fundraising opportunities to create and manage relationships that will deliver growth in income, awareness of the charities profile, and developing volunteering opportunities in the region using the best use of available resources.
Your duties in achieving this will be :
* Effectively managing existing relationships, whilst identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities.
* Create and deliver compelling pitches in a competitive environment to win new income channels.
* Organising and contributing to regional events.
* Set up and manage a network of volunteers across the region.
* Deliver engaging & compelling speeches to encourage support amongst diverse audiences.
* Work closely with a marketing team to have a good understanding of the brand's, mission, vision and values.
* Motivate and inspire your team to enhance fundraising performance.
* Monitor market trends, adapting existing strategies accordingly
Successful applicants must be able to evidence a proven track record in managing fundraising strategies in the third sector whilst displaying exceptional leadership and management skills. The role requires a very high standard of communication skills with the ability to confidently present to large groups and public audiences.
Access to a vehicle is essential as the role is regional and you will be expected to attend meetings across the organisation. The role is Part Time (21 hours per week)on a permanent basis salary is c£30,000 closing date for applications is Friday 23rd March
