Our client is a world leading manufacturing organisation and is renowned for its continuous improvement approach and its leading people strategies. The business continues to grow at a fast pace and as a result a position has come up for a Production Controller to join their team in Dunfermline.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the SAP MRP control allocated, is actioned as required. Also to ensure that all the MRP demands and BOM's are reviewed and analysed to avoid errors and to ensure that all the manufacturing and purchasing activities are in line with the build plan.

Key accountabilities are to;

Create schedule per work centre and measure adherence

Measure and report on production capabilities

Liaise with Project Planners to ensure plans are up to date and that the schedule reflects the plans

Identify and resolve any capacity issues within work centres

Implement and measure Key Performance Indicators on a weekly basis

Key attributes are ;

Proven work history within an engineering planning/scheduling role

Further education qualification in engineering or planning

Experience in a MRP environment

SAP knowledge would be an advantage
