Our client have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Manufacturing/ Equipment Development Engineer to join their team based in Glenrothes.

The company is a market leader and has been an established employer in Fife for almost 40 years.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

resolving technical issues relating to product quality and process performance;
coordination and control of sub-contract related projects and new plant/equipment installations;
planning and control of new plant, equipment and tooling for new business and business optimisation projects;
providing real time project management data to the business is required;
Develop and provide a meaningful contribution to the plants ongoing continuous improvement program;
Production process trouble-shooting and problem solving and optimization;
Providing technical support to production and manufacturing;
providing fault diagnosis and rectification of problems outside normal working hours in an on-call function when required. The successful candidate will be experienced in:

production / manufacturing environment;
HND in Engineering (or equivalent experience);
managing Capital Expenditure Projects for the purchase, installation, and commissioning of production machinery;
providing analytical and data rich information.
