I am working with a company looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

Qualifications.
" HNC or Equivalent in mechanical engineering
" Extensive Previous experience in a production engineering environment

Core skills
" Read/Understand engineering assembly/component drawings
" Fully conversant with machine shop methods & practices including fabrication and finishing
" Ability to write and maintain detailed work instructions, bills of material, reports and spread sheets
" Experience of designing tools, jigs and fixtures for process improvements/ new projects
" Actively participate in achieving process improvements working with dedicated P.I. teams
" Organize/attend meetings internal/external when required to support and discuss technical issues
" Communicate at all levels of the organization on technical matters as required
" Ability to work unsupervised to achieve contractual goals within tight time scales whilst managing technical requirements on contracts as require
" Conversant with the use of CAD systems to design tools/product improvements
" Fully fluent with Word and advanced excel

Desirable Skills
" Knowledge of Defence contracts, standards & practices
" Fluency with SolidWorks/SolidEdge CAD System

Location - Bangor
Salary - £22,000 - £25,000
