My client is a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in the UK, with a global scope and a highly regarded reputation in delivery excellence and providing high end technical and project management services to the prime aerospace companies.

Due to the continued demand for their expertise, my client seeks a number of Aerospace Design Engineers with some engineering design experience, to join their Bristol based team. You will be given the opportunity to provide high quality technical input to aerospace design projects, spanning both aero-structures, and aero-engines. Suitable candidates will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with a proven background in a commercial engineering design environment relevant to the aerospace sector.

You will have experience in one or more of the following:
Metallic’s design
Composites design
Design for manufacture

You will be expected to demonstrate the following attributes:
Professional in approach and performance
Strong communication skills
Commercial awareness
Team worker with the ability to effectively manage themselves and colleagues when appropriate
Experienced in aerospace design, either aero-engines or aero-structures
Trained and experienced in the use of CATIA V4/5
Experienced in data handling processes (converting, translating & transfer)

Ideally you will be:
Pursuing Chartership through the IMechE or RAeS
