My client is the leading global manufacturer and supplier of tubular products and services used in the drilling, completion and production of oil and gas.

Job Profile:

In close cooperation with other Company areas, outlines and deploys Health, Safety & Environment plans that comply with regulations in force and are aligned with companies own policies, by developing and implementing the HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Management System..

Note: We are currently Recruiting for 2 positions within this field: 1 will be site based in Nigeria and the other will be a Regional position covering different country locations in the Sub Saharan region.

Duties (Main Accountabilities):

To manage all HSE practices for the company within the position profile.
To bring the local site(s) up to the standard required by the company within its Global Network
To train and develop local staff and contractors to the Health & Safety / Quality requirements of the company
To be responsible for: Risk Assessments, Audit Compliance and all HSE Matters.
To lead and supervise staff
To report into Senior Management on all HSE & Quality matters

Skills and Experience Required:

Educated to degree level in HSE or Quality Engineering.
To have significant previous experience within Production and Manufacturing.
NEBOSH qualified
Experience with an international company preferable.
Business Level English Language
