Sales Manager - Integrity Management
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.
The role:
As a Sales Manager you will be expected to deliver a high level of sales performance and growth for 3 business units across the Integrity management business. This includes Inspection, Operational Improvement and Asset Integrity. You will be required to work as part of the operations and sales team to achieve overall business targets which are focused on growth.
Key duties will include:
• Achieving a personal sales revenue target of £12m at a defined business margin
• Supporting other members of the sales team to assist in the delivery of the overall budget
• Turning initial leads into clearly defined business opportunities.
• Leading large bid pursuits (£500k to £1m) by providing co-ordination and leadership of bids
• Providing a link between the sales and operations teams, actively vetting opportunities.
• Identifying new customers and working to develop and grow key relationships within these new and existing customers.
• Co-ordinating the interface between the client and the delivery groups. Ensures consistency of approach and works to resolve any customer issues or concerns.
• Achieving target KPI’s on customer visits, site visits, prospects and contracts.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
• Extensive relevant experience in a Sales role within the process industries
• Proven sales track record in a consultancy organisation including account management, achieving targets, complex sales
• An understanding of key aspects of the account / sector offerings within the process industries.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
• Experience at presenting at or chairing conferences or events
• First degree or higher in a process related discipline: .i.e. Chartered Engineer or Full member of a Professional body
• Knowledge of Integrity management or Operations Improvement
