Electronic Avionics Engineer
The Company:
Our client was formed in 1987 and trade in the sale, lease and exchange of aircraft spares and equipment. Since that time the company has built up considerable stocks of rotables and consumable parts and has introduced and an in house repair capability operating to JAR145 standards. Further expansion in the Component Overhaul Division now offers Electrical, Generation and Radio Radar Service Facilities, along with its already established Gyro and Instrumentation service. The 10,000 sq. ft. purpose built facility holds today's state-of-the-art test equipment, a computerised management system and a commitment to provide quality and efficient service from a professional and dedicated team of people.
The Role:
Working in the repair and overhaul division you will be responsible for the repair of electronic aviation parts varying from strobe lights, generator control units, transformer rectifiers, power supplies, contactors, smoke detectors and other electrical devices. You be able to fault find to discreet component level and test overhauled and repaired devices ready for despatch.
The Candidate:
Experience working within the aviation industry is essential.
We are looking for an experienced Electronic Engineer with qualifications in Electronic servicing or repair down to discreet component level.
You will have a minimum City & Guilds (2240) or equivalent with 2-3 years experience in a relevant field. The Package:
Salary £16,550 to £22,500 depending on experience
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
