Senior Test Engineer

Carry out Testing and Commissioning duties in the role of Tester In Charge and Tester to ensure successful Test and Commissioning of projects within the division.

Responsibilities

1. Carry out testing duties on site for specific projects, relevant to personal competence and experience as directed by the Principal Test Engineer. 2. Assist with the preparation of test strategies, plans and certification 3. Ensure adherence to laid down standards for Signalling Works Testing is strictly maintained and all relevant documentation requirements are met. 4. Act as mentor for the ongoing competencies for Authority to Work and the IRSE Licensing scheme. 5. Competent to test different types of signalling systems. 6. Ensure all work carried out is of an appropriate standard. 7. Act as Tester In Charge on Medium / minor complexity schemes. 8. Ensure IRSE Logbook is maintained.

Qualifications & Requirements

1 Qualifications & Experience * IRSE licence holder in the following categories - Tester In Charge, Validation Tester. * Minimum 5 years testing experience. * Member of the IRSE. 2 Business & Personal Competencies * Analytical. * Able to drive or willing to learn. * IT literate. * Motivated. Additional Information * Will be required to work away from home. * Member of the IRSE. * Planning and organisation skills.
