A Systems Support/Field Service Engineer is urgently required to provide support services to end users and clients as well as internal projects and engineering departments. You will attend customer sites all over the world to service, upgrade and commission control and safety systems as well as provide emergency response support. Specifically, you will:
*Provide specialist systems support for a range of equipment including Regent & Trusted TMR systems and AADvance Systems.
*Prepare all necessary documentation including implementation plans, site visit reports, method statements and risk assessments.
*Provide engineering input into projects using applications and site knowledge to help progress deliveries.
*Plan, schedule and coordinate with all project personnel, including managing own and others' time.

To be considered for this position, we expect previous in-depth knowledge of control and safety systems (preferably Rockwell), and have both onshore and offshore site experience for the Oil & Gas, industry. You will also be an excellent communicator with good IT skills, be commercially aware and ideally qualified to degree level or have equivalent experience and be prepared to travel extensively.
Technical skills required are:
*Regent & Trusted TMR systems
*AADvance Systems
*Software design and support of: Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Siemens PCS7, GE Fanuc 90/70 & Honeywell
*Communications protocol - particularly GE Fanuc, Cimplicity & InTools
*Functional safety management to IEC61508

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £45k along with a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, paid travel and accommodation, company bonus scheme and uplift / overtime rates (With offshore and overseas uplift the OTE for the role will be roughly £80 - £100k)

Please note this position is working both overseas and offshore at various customer sites globally. Therefore you must be able to obtain a medical certificate for offshore working. You must have a valid passport and hold a full driving license.
