I am currently recruiting for a Machining/Grinding operative to work on the repair & manufacture of aerospace components.
The successful candidate will be required to remove damage / corrosion from components that have been in service, using conventional machining methods, machining of base metal, nickel & chromium plate, machining of components back to drawing requirements after metal finishing application.

The candidate requirements:

*Time served machinist with previous experience in the use of following conventional machines - Vertical Borers, Horizontal Borers, Internal Grinders, Planetary Grinders, Cylindrical Grinders, Surface Grinders, Lathes, Beam Honer / Power Honer
*Pre-inspection of components for damage / defects
*Set up - Selection & attachment of tooling / fixtures for support during machining operations
*Measurement & inspection of components (using visual & physical methods), signing / stamping for acceptance or rejection of components
*Following internal procedures
*Interpretation of technical drawings
