Fire & Security Project Manager

Fire & Security Jobs require a Skilled Fire & Security Project Manager to undertake a challenging role within a National & Reputable business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Control all aspects of project delivery from design, estimation through to final account.

Liaise with our clients commercial/technical/operational management in order to comply with company procedures

Procure labour/materials and sub-contracts in accordance with our clients buying procedures ensuring waste and costs are minimised

Liaise with our clients management to keep them informed of contract progress and issues that may affect the running of the contract

Management and close supervision of our clients staff and sub-contractors

Analysis and management of financial, contractual and operational business risks to minimise or remove risk to the clients business

Attendance at client contract meetings as and when required

Preparation and presentation of Client Contract Reports

Maintain accurate project administration files and costs (financial records)

Preparation of a monthly report for the Contracts Manager detailing project activities

Attendance at and participation in the Monthly Contract Meeting

Provide operational support as necessary to other parts of the Specialist Services Business Unit

To carry out annual staff appraisals

Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all contract related works/revenue

To carry out any other reasonable requests of senior management

Candidate & Qualifications:

Approved Person and Competent Person with our client

16th Edition Electrical with good security knowledge

Knowledge of key operational management disciplines, e.g. quality control, work planning methods

Capable of managing a portfolio in excess of £2m per annum

IT literacy (word processing, spreadsheets and project management tools)

Valid full driving licence, desirable clean

Good sound knowledge and understanding with commercial and contractual issues
