Engineering Shift Manager

Our Established Client is expanding looking to recruit a Engineering Shift Manager to their manufacturing facility.

Your main role and responsibilities will be to lead a growing team of multiskilled engineers to minimise downtime, conduct and improve PPM. Proactively drive identification and delivery of continuous improvement utilising and interrogating data management systems.

You must have significant experience in leading a team of engineers in a fast paced manufacturing environment, ideally food.

You will be a strong team manager that can motivate team members, identify training needs and develop engineers to maximise the efficiency of the team.

You will develop a close working relationship with the engineering manager and other key managers within production teams.

You will have knowledge and experience of lean tools and implementing lean methodologies into engineering/maintenance projects and processes.

You must be a multiskilled engineer with thorough experience in mechanical and electrical aspects (inc PLC'S) of manufacturing plant equipment ideally food manufacturing.

Ideally you will have significant supervisory/engineering experience with recognised engineering apprenticeship either mechanical/electrical engineering.
