This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager within NPI / Manufacturing to join a rapidly expanding business area for a leading technology company. Out client requires an experienced Project Manager to work within New Product Introduction having overall responsibility for operational aspects through all phases of the product development process, with responsibility to transition new products and product variants from prototype to production status into global production facilities.

This role requires the successful management of all aspects including hardware, software, test performance, product integration, fulfilment, product & process quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:
" Lead project scope definition and commitment ensuring a common understanding of all key deliverables and success criteria.
" Manage successful execution of the project plan achieving the required schedule, cost, process performance and quality.
" Manage risks through the successful application of effective identification and mitigation strategies.
" Manage the transfer of product maintenance into global production facilities.
" Implement a responsive change management system.
" Ensure effective and timely navigation of the project through all major business checkpoints.
" Maintain strong and effective communications with all key project stakeholders.
" Work with other project and resource managers to optimise design (DFMA), materials and production methods (FMEA)

Skills:
" Proven track record of previous project management success within manufacturing in a challenging commercial environment.
" Knowledge of working with major global customers in a product development related role.
" Accredited project management skills and ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent.
" Expertise in the use of SAP, Project Management methodologies (e.g. APM, Prince II, etc) would be a distinct advantage.

This role will require international travel - sometimes at short notice and so candidates must have a full passport and no history of declined visas or entry to any country.
