Pre-Preg Laminator – Aerospace and Composites

As a Pre-Preg Laminator with the team in Leicestershire, you will be involved in production of composite components for the aerospace industry.

As a Pre-Preg Laminator your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Previous experience in working with glass fibre or other type of composite materials
• Strong background in manufacturing or assembly work
• Ability to read engineering drawings and data sheets
• Previous experience of working with composites for the aerospace industry will considered an advantage

As a Pre-Preg Laminator your main responsibilities will involve:
• Carrying out tool preparation
• Kitting and lay-up operations
• Operating autoclaves, ovens and vacuum moulds
• Cure operations to agreed engineering methods and processes using various plant and process equipment
• Supports and conforms to Quality procedures to maintain compliance, by ensuring adherence to the defined processes and procedures
