This role is managing the commissioning phase from 3-6 months across global locations, primarily across emerging economies including China, Mexico, Malaysia etc

The Role
The Site/Commissioning Manager manages all operations on site, including all personnel and customer relations. The Site/Commissioning Manager supports an environment conducive to a successful team interaction at the start-up site. The Site/Commissioning Manager acts on behalf of the project manager vis-à-vis the customer on site. The Site/Commissioning Manager interacts with project management, engineering and commissioning personnel in support of project efforts and maintains communication lines to project management during the total start-up period.
In addition the Site/Commissioning Manager may act as equipment installation supervisor on customer's sites.
The Site/Commissioning Manager ensures that the site is a safe place to work and reinforces safe working practices.
The Successful Candidate
I am looking for applications from candidates with the following skills and experience to apply for the role of Site/Commissioning Manager
*Typically experience in systems engineering related to Drive & Control on Automation Systems and successful field commissioning experience.
*Experience in leading system field commissioning activities.
*Experience in leading multi-function and multi-national teams of professional, and technically qualified staff
*Excellent skills in customer/supplier interfacing.
*Experience in Project Management
*Conversant with MS Office software products Excel, Project, Word, etc.
*Typically possesses broad application/technical knowledge relevant to assigned business team.
*Must be able to work in a stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
*Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites for long periods of time
