Quality Engineer

Thatcher Energy are currently recruiting for a tidal engineering client based in Ireland who specialize in the design and manufacture of marine turbines.

Due to their current requirements they are looking to appoint a Quality Engineer based in Ireland to ensure that turbine manufacture quality requirements are met.

The scope of the work package is as follows:

Liaising with different departments
Produce quality plans, ensure these are met and recorded
Control all quality requirements
Follow all H&S policies
Manage the recording of the quality engineering process
Conduct equipment validations/inspections
Implement KPI’s, conduct internal training, liaise with engineering design team

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior Quality Assurance role, ideally with a heavy engineering background. The ability to prioritise workloads, interpret complex data and manage budgets are a necessity.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Ireland looking to pay £35k-£40k.
