Senior Product Engineer (Mechanical Design)

An opportunity has risen for a Senior Product Engineer (Mechanical Design) to join Honeywell City Technology Limited, based in Portsmouth.

About the Role

The Senior Product Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of gas sensors within the City Technology R&D design team. You will have direct responsibilities for all aspects of the Mechanical design process, within the scope and expectations of the business NPI process and procedures.

About You
• Applicants will ideally be Degree educated or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering / Design Engineering / Product Engineering or other relevant degree.
• Demonstrable track record in Mechanical Design with an appreciation / knowledge of injection moulding
• Design engineering skills including 3D CAD (solid edge is desirable but not essential) ideally,
• FEA and MFA skills.
Familiar with six sigma tools and team work activity / assessment including DFA, DFMA, DFMEA and PFMEA.
• PC literate (MS Office tools)
