Senior Quality Engineer

This opportunity is part of a robust succession plan that will see increased responsibility with a more senior management role on offer within a 3 year period.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound experience working within quality engineering and assurance within an engineering environment. You must be a highly dynamic, self motivated individual, who is driven to learn, develop and succeed.

Essential Experience

A Degree in a suitable engineering discipline.
A broad practical background in Quality engineering and manufacturing.
A formalised and detailed approach to their work.
A working knowledge of the disciplines of the TS16949 Quality Standard.
Strong Communication, IT, Literacy and People management skills.
Being Able to work under pressure in a very fast moving environment.
Full Driving licence.
Candidate Qualities
Responsible to the Quality Manager for all aspects of the company?s quality activity.
Will make recommendations for and implement improvements to the operational performance of the Quality function as a whole.
Manage Quality Engineering, Systems & Audit, Inspection, and Metrology.
Create an environment of continuous improvement to prevail.
Support the Quality Manager/ General Manager in setting and achieving Company quality objectives.
Maintain Quality KPI's for the Quality Manager.
Provide technical support to the various departments in the company, as well as supporting the needs of the customer base.

The company possess state-of-the-art equipment, including C.N.C. machinery, trumpf lasers, bystronic pressbrakes, and extensive machining facilities (e.g. Unisign machines, full power-coating facilities etc).
