Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer- Peterborough- £32K-£46K
We are currently working with a Global Manufacturing business based in Peterborough. They are currently recruiting for an Machine Electronics Systems Integration Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
Design, manage coordinated development, test and deliver integrated Machine Electrical and Electronics Systems
Solicit capture and document Electrical and Electronics System Requirements
Evaluate and analyse product design & requirements changes.
Develop integrated Machine System Bench Test Specification and test plans
Execute test plans, resolve root cause of any issues
Ensure the system is verified and validated for production.
Develop, manage, communicate and execute a Software Release Schedule for all stakeholders.
Deliver system maintenance releases for quality improvements and added customer value
Identify and resolve new & current product development issues
Develop custom product solutions with customer focused custom product teams.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential:
BSc in Engineering or equivalent
Experience with complex machine systems with electronic control systems
Experience with problem solving of electrical and electronic systems
Experience with defining system requirements

Desirable:

Demonstrated experience with engine, machine, and/or hydraulic systems
Comfortable resolving technical issues and implementing solutions
Previous knowledge or experience developing control systems for diesel engines, construction equipment, and automotive or aerospace applications is desirable.
CANape, CANalyzer tool experience.
Comfortable using collaboration tools to work with a global team of resources
Knowledge of requirements management tools
Formal systems engineering training
Previous experience of interfering with clients and customers
