Role:

Provide professional advice, guidance, assistance and support through all stages of the Project scope of work, onshore, offshore and to all participating companies, i.e. suppliers of materials, goods and services with regard to the implementation of and adherence to project HS&E plan, company HS&E policies and procedures and Client/ Petrofac/ Sub-contractor interfacing arrangements.

Responsibilities:

Based in our Manchester Office.

Ensure that all Project personnel are fully aware of client and company HS&E policies and procedures; project specific HS&E plans and agreed interfacing requirements with client and sub-contractors, as appropriate.

Develop and support implementation of HS&E Plans relevant to assigned project activities

Be aware of new or existing HS&E Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, guidance notes, and Government reports, and draw the attention of the Project Manager and Project team to any implications for the Contract.

Promote guidance, advice and understanding and compliance across the project with requirements to HS&E requirements for example in Radiation, COSHH, Manual Handling, PPE, DSE, Environmental, Waste Management and Health and Hygiene standards and objectives.

Implement and support corporate safety training policy as applicable to the needs and requirements of the Contract.

Contribute to the workpack development process to ensure that Risk Assessments have been undertaken to the required standard.

Plan and ensure that audits/inspections are carried out onshore and offshore to establish that Petrofac meets current legislative requirements, client requirements and its own HS&E targets.

Plan, assist and participate in HSE Audits of Subcontractors employed by the company and submit written reports to the Project Manager.

Recommend and monitor the use, provision and effectiveness of safety equipment.

Prepare HS&E communication programmes as required.
