Ripe4 is working exclusively with one of the world’s leading agricultural science companies to bring you this innovative and forward thinking role as an Agricultural / Bio Sciences Lean Sigma Black Belt. The position will see you leading continuous improvement and delivering Supply Chain cost savings across the EAME.

Our client’s organisation is a market leading multi-national agro-chemical company currently in the midst of a Lean Six Sigma Program throughout production and Supply Chain – there has been some definite momentum within the Production facilities however; the need to firm up this very elastic and complex Supply Chain has arisen – this will be the remit of the eventual incumbent.

You will need to be comfortable working without guidance as you will be given a high degree of autonomy in this role in order to define and lead operational continuous improvement activities across relevant business areas, facilitating, training, coaching and mentoring along the way. You will design and implement measurement and control systems, data analysis tools and methods to support improvements.

You would enjoy complete autonomy to not only pick and choose where to run projects but also to use whatever CI “ tool kit” you feel would be most effective. You would roll out training in the form of cascading capability down internally to various stakeholders such as Field Production Managers and Supply Chain Managers – you will likely start off running projects at a few pilot locations as this is a completely new venture, and a first for programmes of its type.

The successful candidate will:

• Most likely be of graduate or post-graduate level, preferably with an Engineering qualification
• Have/display extensive of cross-functional project management knowledge
• Hold Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Have proven experience of working with finance/economic evaluation methods needed
• Have proven experience of statistical analysis methods and Statistical Process Control basics is preferred
• Have extensive experience of working with manufacturing work processes and associated tools
