Design Engineer

DESIGN ENGINEER

Our client is a manufacturer and a leading designer of specialist construction equipment. They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their vibrant team.

Duties:

*Detailed design of conception mechanical drawings from concept stage through to production stage
*Developing and re-developing of new products
*Amendment of existing products
*Project management from concept to production
*Field trials
*Testing of prototypes
*Liaison with customers, engineers and shop floor staff

Qualifications/requirements:

*HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
*At least 2 years working experience in Solid works/AutoCAD
*Knowledge of the pipeline/gas/oil/water industry
*Experience in taking ownership of a project
