Senior Blow Moulding Technician
Location: Manchester
Salary: £35K plus
Hours: Nights - 3 days on 3 days off / 7.00pm - 7.00am

My client a leading supplier of household packaging have a requirement for a Senior Blow Moulding Technician based in the Manchester area. You will be responsible for a team of technician on a plastic bottling line.

Responsibilities:
*Ensure that the blow moulding machines meet production volume and standards making routine adjustments as required
*Accountable for one selected machine to improve KPI as part of the continuous improvement process with Team Manager.
*Ensure training and development of shift technicians
*Ensure routine quality and safety inspection are conducted & recorded
*Ensure that colour and mould changeovers are completed as planned by your shift teams
*In conjunction with Engineering ensure that maintenance checks are carried out
*Maintain departmental hygiene standards at all times
*Ensure that all downtime data recorded

Key result areas:
*Units produced whilst achieving Overall dept machine efficiency of >88%
*Quality levels (PPM defects) and achieving >99% Right First Time
*Conformance to plan
*Wastage levels <1.5%

The successful candidate will have previous experience in FMCG Blow Moulding or Injection Moulding environment. This position is on a permanent basis, offering a competitive salary of £35K plus, working nights on 3 days on 3 days off.
