Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities:

 Provide technical information on products
 Assist customers with fault diagnosis
 Offer advice on effective remedies or repair to equipment
 Answering technical queries
 Selection of equipment appropriate to specifications
 Able to provide sound technical information to customers
 Maintain CRM database
 Assist warranty department on diagnostics to warranty claims
 Conform to ISO 9001 standards
 Monitor fault occurrences and escalate as appropriate
 Provide technical advice to customers

The successful Technical Support Engineer must be:

 NVQ Level 3 in refrigerant and air conditioning or an equivalent qualification
 General knowledge of the UK air conditioning industry
 Basic electrical circuitry knowledge
 Proficient to an intermediate level of Windows based applications
 Ability to problem solve
 Good communicator
 Excellent customer service approach
 Excellent telephone manner
 Assertive manner
 Team player
 Ability to work under pressure
