Customer Service Representative

Job Role:
To provide a professional response to all product and order related enquiries for primary accounts and other account contacts as required;
Develop and improve the focus of customer relationship management with both internal and external customers as well as support the company’s product delivery system by maintaining a proactive and integrated communication flow with Sales, Branch Managers and customers regarding customer service issues;
Order processing and service related activities to ensure accurate, timely and effective handling of customer requirements;
Assist customers in selecting products that best suits the application and identify potential sales opportunities, ensure that the sales leads are provided to the appropriate Sales Representative;
Quotation and order entry, edit and maintenance, handle all telephone, fax or email enquiries relating to freight, product application or billings issues;
Analyse and resolve customer requests, enquiries and problems;
Responsible for customer satisfaction and company profitability by consistently adhering to policies and procedures;
Prevent and or resolve any billing disputes;
Maintain current documentation and files;

Experience/Candidate Criteria
Proven software skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel;

The successful candidate must have a solid customer care background, ideally from a technical environment as the product is quite technical;
Ideally experience of SAP or similar business system;
Ideally to have worked within a customer care role attached to a warehouse operation;
