Case Assessor - £22,000 plus benefits (Potential to rise to £23,500 after six months) - Docklands

Based in the London Docklands area, our client is an independent service who delivers the best in customer service when resolving disputes between consumers and financial businesses, ensuring at all times an impartial and fair outcome.
Our client is currently recruiting for skilled individuals who can make sense of complex problems and help us reach decisions on disputes everyday.
You will be responsible for resolving disputes between financial businesses and their customers - so you will be the face of the Financial Ombudsman Service, speaking to customers over the phone and communicating with them in writing.
It is important you are able to communicate the outcome to the consumer and the business promptly and clearly, ensuring they understand why you have made that decision.

Have a relevant degree such as Law, English, Business and Economics. Knowledge of the FSA and other appropriate regulatory bodies is advantageous.
You will be working in an intellectually challenging environment, working with people from a range of different backgrounds. You may have gained this experience in office-based work or in a service industry. You will be working in a face paced environment where you must show problem-solving skills; this could be through academic achievement, or in previous jobs.
As the successful candidate you will also have experience in a customer service based role.
