Traffic Clerk / Transport Administrator - Nightshift

An exciting new opportunity has a risen for an experienced Traffic Clerk to join one of our most prestigious clients on a long-term basis.

The Role: Traffic Clerk
The primary purpose of the role is to provide and effective and efficient operational service for the transport function, ensuring the legal compliance of both drivers and the fleet. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Monitoring and reviewing tachographs for legal compliance and ensuring drivers are aware of and working to SLA's
* Briefing drivers of requirements at the start of each shift and debriefing at shift end
* Data input of statistics and production of reports to strict deadline
* Reconciliation of invoices and cost-control in line with budget targets
The hours of work will be permanent night-shift on a continental "four on / four off" basis. Employment will be on a temporary basis, leading to permanency for the right person.

The Person: Traffic Clerk
Experience within a similar role - Traffic Clerk, Transport Administrator, Logistics Administrator - is essential. You must have knowledge of current transport regulations, a proven track record of planning and forecasting, as well as budget management and cost control. You should be able to work well under pressure, be proactive and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
