A leader in mobility management providing relocation professionals with tailored solutions, the business delivers domestic and international moving and relocation services to employees, expatriates, diplomats and other private customers, providing office and industrial moving services. An opening now exists for an experienced business development manager to join the business.

The role: Business Development Manager, Midlands/ Thames Valley [MPI-00186]

Objectives:

• Development of new business across the breadth of Relocation and Household Goods services portfolio.
• Achievement of pre-budgeted targets in revenue and margin.
• Client retention through the provision of robust and practical agreements which meet the needs of the client and the company.

Key Activities:

• Development of business within a defined territory
• Development and implementation of action plans to maximise penetration of target accounts;
• Networking within industry and business forums to expand sales opportunities;
• Development of cold call projects to create business opportunities;
• Managing responses to RFI/RFP opportunities;
• Analyse selling situations and create client focused solutions;
• Plan, prepare and deliver effective business presentations and proposals;
• Adopting a consultative sales approach focused on building long-term relationships for the company
• Agree Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)with target accounts;
• Plan and structure the management of client handover to Account Management
• Participate in Corporate Account Performance Review in conjunction with Account Manager;
• Participate and contribute effectively to team selling situations;
• Provide business leads to other divisions within the company
• Contribute to global sales initiatives
• Utilise and maintain database for development of sales opportunities
• Actively promote the company and its services
• Liaise with Marketing Manager to identify and implement business development strategy for your defined territory.
