Internal Sales Administrator Minworth Competitive Salary
My client is a leading distributor of Oil, Lubricants and Fluid dispensing equipment, based in the Minworth Area of Birmingham, who is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Administrator to join their ever expanding team.
As internal sales administrator you will be the first point of contact for incoming calls, providing the highest service to the companys client base.
On a day to day basis you will be:
Advising customers of pricing, stock availability and existing order status,
Take and deal with customer orders via telephone and e-mail,
Identify sales opportunities and supply to the external sales team,
Offer product features and benefits
You will also be the first point of contact for sales orders which are generated from the company website, e-mail, telephone and fax.
You will also be responsible for:
Processing the orders onto the internal systems, through the warehouse and up until dispatch,
Make detailed notes to update customers with their order status,
Liaise with company couriers for delivery information on orders dispatched.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of internal sales role, preferably with an industrial product background. You will have an excellent telephone manner and a high level of customer service skills.
You must be able to prioritise your own workload, and be comfortable working in a busy office environment.
A good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages, such as Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
The hours for this role will be Monday Thursday 9.00am 5.30pm and Friday 9.30am 5.00pm.
The starting salary for this position will be circa £16,000, which is negotiable dependant on skill and experience.
This position will be offered on a permanent basis. After the successful competition of a qualifying period, there is an option to join the company pension scheme, private health care and bonus scheme.
