An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Hairdressing assessor professional to become part of a large and well established private training provider. The role of Hairdressing assessor will see you training young apprentices to completion of their level 2 qualifications.

My client is the largest Hairdressing training provider in the country and has recently celebrated 25 years of delivery. They also received grade 2 in Ofstead after two consecutive reports putting them into the top 10% of training providers in the country. They pride themselves on quality delivery and having quality, well trained staff. As well as this, they have an in house teacher training department and are willing to up skill any of their trainers.

Due to recent expansion, they are now looking for a Hairdressing assessor to work from their centre in Southend on Sea. Your responsibility will be enabling apprentices to achieve their Hairdressing qualification level 2. You will be required to work from their office in Southend.

To be considered, you will need to have occupational experience in Hairdressing.
It would be highly desirable that you have experience assessing and tutoring Hairdressing but my client is willing to put people through the necessary training.
You will also need:

-Hairdressing Level 2
-A1 Assessors award

As well as this, you will also need to be computer literate, have good written and verbal powers of communication, good organisational skills and have access to a car.

The starting salary for this role is £16,000-£20,000 per annum completely depending on qualification level.
