Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon
Protocol Education are currently working on behalf of a great 3 form entry school in Hillingdon who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work one on one with a child with Special Educational Needs.
The post is to work with a student who is Autistic.
Applicants must have experience of working with children with Autism; be able to commit for at least 1 term; have worked with, or been trained in, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).
The school itself has a great staff and leadership team, whilst there are some challenging children the support system in place is very good. The behaviour policy is fully implemented and adhered to throughout the school resulting in pupils being aware of expectations and the consequences of bad behaviour.
In line with our recruitment and safeguarding guidelines we will require a current CRB or you will b willing to complete a new application, you will be able to provide referee details and you will be eligible to work in the UK with a valid teaching qualification.
