Regional Internal Verifier
Our client is looking for a Regional Internal Verifier to join their company in London. The role will be particularly based around North and West London areas.
Candidates must hold an Internal Verification Certificate and have experience of verifying Hospitality and Customer Service qualifications. You will have around 8 Trainer / Assessors.
Overview of role:
Accountable for the support and regional delivery of qualifications to provide guidance to Area IV and Trainer Assessors ensuring the company's targets (financial and quality) are met.
Purpose of Role:
Responsible for enabling the regional delivery of the full range of qualifications offered by the company and to ensure quality assurance in line with the QA strategy.
Provide support and guidance to trainer/assessors to meet required standards of training programmes delivery and specified KPIs
The key General/Financial based responsibilities for a Regional Internal Verifier are:
Ensure QA strategy is fully implemented across the region in terms of recruitment and selection of TAs and allocation of programme delivery
Compile and maintain sampling plans that support TAs and the learning experience for the companies learners
Carry out Formative/Summative IV according to IV strategy and in line with CAMERA and TA rationales
Identify development needs for the region and arrange appropriate Standardisation activities and liaise with development team for additional coaching and training activities
Advise, guide Trainers/Assessors on how to deliver programmes to comply with timely success and to awarding body requirements
Monitor and amend WRAG ratings as required and provide assessor evaluations to support performance Management
To support the TAs to fulfil the key components of the training cycle from sign-up, initial assessment, compilation of learning plans/agreements, coaching, IAG and formative and summative assessment and to ensure all components are effectively delivered
The key people based responsibilities for a Regional Internal Verifier are:
Provide support and guidance to area Internal Verifiers
Ensure Assessors meet Awarding Organisation requirements
Support the development of TAs in conjunction with the development team
Disseminate best practice through coaching and standardisation, incorporating latest information from development team and utilisation of SOWS
Ensure standardisation meetings are organised and attended
Monitor the number of early leavers and identify possible causes for this and put in an action plan to prevent re-occurrences
Monitor the number and causes of OOFs and to advise area managers/ regional managers of potential OOFs and put into place action plans with TAs and learners as required
Evaluate MAYTAS information/QSR dataAuthority Level:
Co -ordinate assessor standardisation meetings and development activities according to team needs and the needs of the business
Co-ordinate IV meetings and communications to support currency of knowledge and to maintain a company approach to the delivery of all learning programmes
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Holidays: 25 days per annum
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependant on skills, qualifications and experience + Contributory pension scheme + Health care benefits and travelling costs
