My Client school is recruiting for a Lead Physics Teacher to direct the provision of Physics throughout the Key Stages and contribute to the general science provision at GCSE level.
The school is set in wonderful grounds of a 1930’s Grammar school, and although the school is now a non-secular comprehensive, it still has all the charm of a traditional red brick school and can boast all the modern facilities that you would expect from a high achieving school.
Your role will be to work with a large departmental team and report to the Head of Science Curriculum. You will be a strong believer in the sharing of good practice and either have previous experience as curriculum/subject leader or in the delivery of cross school initiatives.
Both GCSE and A-Level results are high and the school sits in the top 5% of national league tables for most subject areas. This role will include the provision of revision lessons outside of school hours to meet the high standards of pupils and parents expectations.
The school have had previous success in recruiting future Advanced Skills Teachers in to such roles and have encouraged personal development in this area. This is quite a unique role and the school is keen to encourage excellent classroom practitioners to apply.
If you have a strong desire to spend your working day in front of young learners and want to inspire their future goals, then we strongly suggest that you apply now!!!
