The school is looking to appoint a Science Teacher for their thriving Science Department. They are looking for someone who can teach Science to A-Level and has a real passion for the subject. They have outstanding facilities including a fully refurbished Science department. The school are looking for an inventive individual with experience of setting targets for students with the ability to raise attainment levels.

The Science department has a strong team of Science technicians which consists of both NQT’s and experienced members of staff. They also benefit from a well resourced department which is lead by a supportive and inspirational HOD.

The successful Science Teacher will be an inspirational teacher happy to get involved in after school clubs and will be keen to get involved in school life. The post is offered ideally on a permanent contract but the school may be willing to consider someone who can commit to a full academic year on a temporary contract. The school is also happy to consider candidates from a biology, chemistry or physic specialism.

You will be an excellent classroom practitioner within the school. You will be confronted with a mixture of students with varying needs. The school has excellent behaviour management policies in place and you will be supported at every step by a committed and able senior leadership team.

The school is located within walking distance of transport links to make getting to and from school easily accessible.
