Technical Sales Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a well established business for someone who is technically conversant with electronic switch and sensor style products, financially astute with excellent sales and marketing knowledge to develop and maintain exceptional relationships with existing and prospective clients.

This position is to strategically grow the sales of the company's products throughout Europe by developing new business through directly selling to Original Equipment Manufacturing customers. The role will involve but is not limited to the following;

- Identify and maximise potential new customers
- Develop and maintain long term relationships
- Manage and interpret the customers requirements and expectations
- Calculate quotations and manage the closing of the sale
- Provide after sales support
- Achieve realistic targets
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrating the product
- Assist in the design of custom made products

Within this position there is no supervisory responsibilities, however the successful candidate will be required to self manage and be discipline with time and territory management.

The successful person for this role will have proven experience and results of working within a sales position within the electrical industry. You will hold a good technical knowledge and thrive off developing relationships to exceed targets.
