Working for a dynamic company based in Cambridge you will have the following skill set:

The Test Engineer will have the ability to fault finding to component level
In depth knowledge of both Analogue and Digital circuitry and ability to recognise common circuit configuration
Experience of PC based and ATE Testing
Able to work on own initiative
Capable of programming flying probe and ICT.
To operate automatic and manual test equipment in order to test PCB's and assembles to given specifications.
To diagnose and locate faults to component level and if possible, rectify or identify the fault such that an effective repair can be implemented by others.
Provide and record appropriate information for test process monitors.
Read and interpret all documentation relating to electronic design of PCB's and assemblies to assist in resolving specific problems associated with improving the manufacturer of a customers' product.
Ensure compliance with Company procedures, standards and Health and Safety regulations.
Liaise with Test Engineers Technical Support and Production Control to ensure problems and opportunities and addressed quickly to maintain an environment working for continual improvement.

Able to meet with customer engineers and representatives, to discuss board level layouts, design for test and manufacturability.
Able to manage test development (internal and 3rd party) to meet the required timescales
