My client is Europe`s leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services. They can advise customers on their IT strategy, implement the most appropriate technology from a wide range of leading vendors and manage their technology infrastructures on their behalf. Their corporate and government clients are served by offices across the UK, Germany, France, the Benelux countries, Spain and South Africa. They also serve their customers` global requirements through their extensive partner network.
The Role
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Support Analysts to join my clients Central Enterprise Team based in the CIty, and work in partnership with Sales across the Global Business. This team manages quotes and orders for the main seven Company Enterprise vendors, covering both Product and Services.
Roles & Responsibilities
70% Commercial Quotation Generation and Management
Keep up to date with vendor pricing models and mechanisms
Maintain knowledge on vendor/distribution promotions/incentives
Work with vendors to ensure that all quotations are competitive
Use knowledge and information provided to ensure that every quotation generated maximises the margin potential
Ensure any relevant services are added, i.e support, maintenance, software
Management of multivendor requests : consolidate the customer quotation
Take ownerships of opportunities and follow up on outstanding quotation requests
Support forecast calls as requested by the business
Support RFP/RFI responses as requested by Sales
25% Relationship Management
Maintenance and creation of relationships across the Business, including Account Teams, Sales Support & Partner Management
Maintenance and creation of relationships across our Tier 1 vendors and distribution partners
5% Team Support Activities
Ensures all processes are kept up to date
Challenges processes where efficiencies gains can be achieved
Willing to put forward ideas which may drive the team forward
Support the Sales Support function as requested by Management during peak periods : for example, raising SAP orders
Key Requirements

Experience in a commercial function
Sales and margin focused

Strong mathematical/analytical skills
Organisation and time management skills - ability to prioritise workload and multi-task across numerous customers, products and services
Experience in working in a process orientated, service level driven environment
Customer care - ability to listen, understand and interpret customer`s needs
Good communication skills and telephone manner
Experience of dealing with demanding customers
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners
PC-literate; especially strong with Excel
